Central Bedfordshire Council hereby gives notice of a public hearing relating to the Caddington and Slip End Neighbourhood Plan 2016 – 2031 submitted for examination under Regulation 17 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

The Caddington and Slip End Neighbourhood Plan 2016 – 2031 was submitted for examination following a consultation from 15^th September to 27^th October 2017. A copy of the submitted neighbourhood plan is available via the following link:

In accordance with Paragraph 9 of the schedule 4B to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) the independent examiner, Mr Terry Kemmann-Lane, JP DipTP FRTPI MCMI, has decided that a hearing is required for the purpose of receiving oral representations.

The hearing will take place at the Heathfield Centre, Hyde Road, Caddington, LU1 4HF on Thursday 15^th March 2018. The hearing will commence at 10 am. It should be noted that any member of the public may attend the hearing, however, only specific persons may make oral representation, in accordance with Paragraph 9(3) of Schedule 4B to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
