The Salvation Army Band in concert at All Saints Church. Entry for £5 includes refreshments and drinks. Proceeds to All Saints Church. There will be a stall for the Bishop's Harvest Appeal for the farmers of Teso, Uganda Saturday evening and on Sunday 10.00am. Please would you make a cake or fruit pie or crumble towards this appeal.

Please bring tinned gifts and other food provisions which will be given to the NOAH project) and/or financial gifts for the work of the Bishop's Harvest Appeal-working for climate justice to enable communities in the Ugandan area of Teso to grow drought resistant crops and prosper.

Stall of fruit cakes and fruit pies and collection for the Bishop's Harvest Appeal for the farmers of Teso in Uganda. If you can make a cake or a pie please give it to Jenny Russell (738401) or Christine Graham (738470) on Saturday 2nd October or bring it to church on Sunday.

Family Eucharist (sung). Sunday 17th October falls at the time when the church remembers St Luke the physician and so there is a long standing tradition of praying for our healing especially at this time. All of us know that there are areas in our lives that are sick- areas where we long for God's peace to enter. There is an opportunity for people to go to the Lady Chapel (at the side) after they have been to the altar for Communion or a blessing , to receive further prayer and anointing should they so wish. Please do read the article in the Villager for further explanation.

There will be a visiting speaker from Open Doors. Come along to support those who suffer for their faith, learn more, and pray..
